The TIVO Generation

Today, Bella was getting ready for lunch. Her soup was on the table, but she was in the middle of an episode of the Wiggles.

Me: Bella, your lunch is ready.
Bella (slithering off the sofa): OK Mom. Can you pause this?
Me: stunned silence, mentally thinking "She's 2.5 and she wants me to pause something? damn you DVR!"

And then I paused it. It was a reasonable request.
